In the Summer of 2021, I worked as a Digital Media Content Creator for Consent Comes First, Toronto Metropolitan University's Office of Sexual Violence Support and Education.
Consent Comes First (CCF) provides free, confidential, trauma-informed, healing-centered support to TMU community members affected by sexual violence and other forms of gender-based violence.
YOU CHOOSE WHAT TO DO NEXT
To this day, working on these guides has been the most meaningful work that I have been a part of so far. The "You Choose What To Do Next" guides are trauma-informed accessible legal information resources created by Consent Comes First and community partners for people affected by sexual violence and other forms of gender-based violence.
When our team brainstormed the potential aesthetic for these guides, it was important that this guide wasn't just an intimidating document filled with legal terms. Our goal was to empower survivors to know that whatever decision they chose in regards to reporting is their own choice and no one can change that.

WEBSITE REDESIGN
One of the major projects I worked on for CCF was the redesign of their website. Using Adobe Experience Manager that the TMU site is hosted on, I incorporated best practices when editing the site to make sure it was accessibility-friendly and also inputted more inclusive photos showcasing folks in the BIPOC and LGPTQ+ community.
